Elden Ring Fan Adds Alexander To Random Movie Scenes Every Day Until DLC Announced

FromSoftware’s massive RPG is already being considered the game of the year by some, even as the industry prepares to release some of the biggest games this year. At this point, however, many Ring of EldenFans would love to see how FromSoftware plans to expand the game in the form of DLC. In preparation for a DLC announcement, a Reddit user named freetrolley42 took it upon himself to Photoshop Iron Fist Alexander into random movie scenes every day until it happened. The first post depicts Alexander in the film Forrest Gump, standing next to Forrest during the iconic scene where the character reaches the Santa Monica Pier and turns around to continue his legendary marathon. Freetrolley42 is currently on day two, having photographed Alexander in the opening scene of Jay and Silent Bob strike backAlexander taking the place of Silent Bob.


It appears that the Ring of Elden community has found much joy in the photoshopping antics of freetrolley42. The day one post currently has over 22,000 upvotes, but many are wondering how long these posts might last. FromSoftware probably has a lot to consider when making DLC ​​for Ring of Elden, and the company has not declared its intention to make an expansion. In addition, not all games in From’s catalog have always received DLC. Freetrolley42 might have a lot of photoshopping to do in the future.

Interestingly, the post format of photographing something game-related in a movie scene is nothing new to these gaming communities. Throughout this year, a fan of the Steam Deck subreddit Photoshopped one of Valve’s laptops into a movie scene every day until their Q3 purchase happened. These posts spanned 77 days and saw a Steam Deck in movies ranging from modern hits like The Avengers to older movies like Breakfast at Tiffany’s. How long the Ring of Elden community will continue to place Alexander in interesting new places remains to be seen.
