Catherine Tate apologizes to BB star for cutting scenes from Nan Movie

Ancient Big brother winner Pete Bennett revealed he had a deleted scene from Nan moviebut received a big apology from its star Catherine Tate.

The reality star, who won the seventh series of the hit series, had signed up to make an appearance in the new comedy film.

Talk to FUBAR-RadioBennett – who still appears in the film – explained that he learned that the big scene between his character Bradley and Nan was cut before the film was released.

“Just before the movie was released, I received an apology email from Catherine Tate saying, ‘For purely technical reasons, Pete, our scene in the elevator together has been cut. And it’s being stripped.’ , he recalls.

While Bennett was initially “pissed off”, he “took it on the chin”, adding, “She said, ‘Please always come to the premiere’. And I went to the premiere. J watched the movie, and I still think, yeah, that’s a mean movie. I laughed my head off.

The star also teased that he might work with Tate on another project in the future, admitting: “We might be able to work on something in the future. Oh, what’s going to happen? I I don’t know. She kind of said, ‘Don’t worry Pete!'”

Speaking further about his audition, Bennett recalled: “[Catherine] wanted people with Tourette in them. So my agent said, ‘Hey, that might be good for you,’ and I said, ‘Of course it is!’

“During my audition, I just called her every name under the sun, and she called me a lot of bad words as well.

“I went there buzzing, you know, because she said, ‘You don’t have TV,’ and I was like, ‘Are you really a star…with me? She loved me! In fact, she had known me since Big brother. I like him a lot too, I’m a big fan.”

Nan movie sees Tate reprise her famous character Joanie Taylor from The Catherine Tate Showalthough it did not receive rave reviews from critics.

Nan movie now plays in the UK.
