Carson City Classic Cinema 2022 Outdoor Summer Movie Series Begins This Friday | Carson City Nevada News
June 17, 2022 – 8:30 p.m.
The Carson City Classic Cinema Club, Garrett Lepire and Carson City Parks and Recreation are teaming up again to present a program of free outdoor family movie nights in Mills Park.
We’ll start by kicking off Father’s Day weekend on Friday, June 17 with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), which introduces us to Indie’s own father, played by Sean Connery.
This year we will also have fun pre-show activities and Kona Ice will be at some screenings with their festive music and Hawaiian treats. Bring your favorite chairs, blankets, and picnic to stake out your space early. The movies start at sunset.
The rest of the program is as follows:
Friday, June 24 – The Bad News Bears (1976)
Friday 08 July – Up (1009)
Friday, July 15 – The Jungle Book (2016)
Friday, July 22 – Jurassic Park (1993)
Friday, July 29 – Soul (2020)
Mills Park is located at 1111 E. William Street, Carson City. The films will be screened near the skate park.
The Carson City Classic Cinema Club is a non-profit organization and 100% of proceeds go to youth arts and community programs.
