CAPA Summer Movie Series Features The Goonies, Halloween and More for 2022

This year’s CAPA summer movie series continues to be one of the best entertainment offerings. For just $6 a ticket, you can catch twenty-five movies (including ten series premieres!) this summer, ranging from beloved classics to horror, comedy, nostalgic adventure, and more. All films are screened at the beautiful Ohio Theater in downtown Columbus.

America’s longest-running classic film series returns this year with a full schedule, showing twenty-five films over nine weeks.

fans of Bridgerton and Golden age enjoy The Wuthering Heights, one of the original versions of the contestation of the structure of social classes. Is this your favorite Batman the Tim Burton version with Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger? Check them out and more on the big screen!

The series begins Thursday, June 16 and will open with the 1996 series premiere The bird cage.

CAPA Summer Movie 10-Series Packs, one of Central Ohio’s best entertainment deals, are available for purchase through Sunday, July 24. 10-ticket packs are $40, a savings of $2 per ticket off day-of-show prices. 10-pack tickets are good for any movie in any combination. Tickets on the day of the show to individual movies are $6 each and go on sale one hour before showtime at the Ohio Theater newsstand. Senior tickets are $5. Newsstand sales are made in cash or by card. You can also purchase the 10-pack from the newsstand until July 24.
